Senior UX/UI Designer (Poland)

Job Description
We are looking for a freelance UI/UX Designer based in Warsaw to join us in building a world class product at Kidadl.com. Your responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements and building navigation components. To be successful in this role you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools and be able to conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks. Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing features that address the needs of our global family audience and help us grow our User base.
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers and BRD requirements
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps and present these to key stakeholders
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
- Build page navigation buttons and search fields
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
- Prepare and present wireframes to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Conduct adjustments and improvements based on user feedback
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
- Adhere to brand style and brand guidelines on fonts, colors and images
- Stay up-to-date with design application changes and industry developments
Requirements
- Over 3 years experience using Webflow, Figma and Canva
- Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer
- Portfolio of design projects that you can share with us for review
- Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
- Excellent time-management skills
- Native or fluent English
- BSc in Design, Computer Science or relevant field
- Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders across the world
- Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies
