We are looking for a NOC Engineer to Sinch Operator NOC Team in Warsaw

The essence of the role

As a Network Operations Engineer (NOC) you will monitor and handle events for Sinch's Operator both internally and externally. You will ensure that the systems are running without any issues and also make sure that the customers' SMS traffic is working.

As our new NOC Engineer you will:

• Monitoring amp; event management for Sinch Operator internal and external IT amp; Telecom environments as well as internal infrastructure amp; tools.
• Be responsible for that Sinch Operator Managed Services Environments are up and running according to SLAs.
• Customer Obsession. Focus on service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Deliver KPIs and reports internally and externally for transparency. As well as keeping the reports amp; related scripts up to date.

In order to contribute we see that you:

• Are fluent in English and having good communications skills overall.
• Have basic understanding of network monitoring concepts and management tools.
• Have elementary telecom environments knowledge ex. what is the purpose of SMSC, SMSFW, OCS systems.
• Are well familiar with Windows OS
• Have Basic sysadmin Linux knowledge (Linux kernel amp; command line)

It is good if you have:

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar field.
• Experience in working as NOC Engineer or in similar role.
• Programming skills, especially python.
• Language skills in Polish

This role is a permanent position at Sinch in Warsaw, Poland. The person will work up to 75% of a full time role and will be payed on a hourly basis. Due to covid the person will work remote with some onsite on-boarding in the beginning.
The working schedule is flexible. You need to be comfortable working 12-13 hours in different shifts (day, night and weekends)
