We at Sinch are currently looking for a Service Delivery Engineer who will manage and support our customers products/services on Sinch’s Platform

The essence of the role

As a Service Delivery Engineer, you will manage and support our customers which are communication service providers using our SaaS solutions for SMSC and other core network functions. In the role you will handle customers issues in our ticketing system. The most common tasks are continuous maintenance, critical errors, and life cycle management planning.

This role is a mix of Account Management, Service Delivery and Tech Support, you need to be comfortable interacting with customers and describe technical issues in a non-technical way. You will also be responsible for key customers and give them the best service possible.

In order to be successful in this role you need:

  • A Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science/Engineering or related subject
  • To be responsible for key customers and take active ownership to make them satisfied
  • To be comfortable with changes in complex technical environments
  • To have experience in customer facing roles
  • 3+ years of experience of System Administration in Linux Server/RHEL
  • Scripting skills, for example Bash/Ruby/Python
  • Great management skills and huge engagement towards your key customers
  • A solution focused mindset
  • Cloud experience, preferably in AWS
  • Network knowledge (OSI network layer and TCP/IP)

Nice to have

  • Experience of Nobill 4 (Mobile Network Core Platform)
  • Knowledge and experience in SQL and specifically Oracle DB
  • Experience of Continuous Integration

Sinch’s business is global, hence, you need to establish stable relationships with key customers worldwide, but you will work regular European office hours. You will report to the Service Delivery Manager and to our customers.

This role will be based in Warsaw, Poland or Stockholm, Sweden.
