About the opportunity
The Digital Marketing group at Dentons works to continuously increase profitability, through the collaborative and measured use of integrated, multi-channel digital marketing practices and tools that empower Dentons' marketers, business developers and professionals to generate more leads, close more deals and increase efficiency.
The Client Relationship Management (CRM) team work with and provide support to all areas of the business across the firm to assist in the delivery of client and market development campaigns / initiatives, data insights, and adoption and promotion of CRM best practice.
The CRM Data Steward will be responsible for day-to-day, scheduled cleansing and data improvement activities across our CRM platforms.
About the role
CRM and data quality
- The daily processing of data change tickets within the firm's CRM platform (InterAction) in-line with policy, procedure, data privacy and e-communication principles
- Undertake regular data cleansing, compliance and data improvement activities, including but not limited to:
- Cleaning, review and merging of contacts to the firm's data quality guidelines / standards; this may include research and analysis on the various key datasets, including for their completeness and accuracy
- Reporting and follow up tasks required per event / client communication
- From time to time, undertake other tasks such as importing / exporting, data manipulation and reporting as directed
About You
Technical experience and skills
- Fluency in English is required (B2 level), as it is the working language of the business. Fluency in other languages would be an asset
- Experience of InterAction would be preferable but not essential as full training will be given
- Possess a basic understanding of databases, data, manipulation and mining (front end only required, i.e. no coding experience necessary for the role)
- Computer literate with good working knowledge of common desktop applications such as MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel

- Methodical and thorough with a strong focus on attention to detail, accuracy and an understanding for the need of documentation and well-defined procedures
- Comfortable with tasks requiring detailed review of large data sets and comfortable with repetitive daily tasks that may require long periods of focus
- Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Energetic, self-motivated with a strong focus on excellent customer satisfaction
- Can show initiative through recommending improvements and the ability to be proactive, while also being able to follow instructions and provide support to the team
- Professional in outlook, attitude and appearance
