What you’ll be doing

Description:

Collaborate with key product stakeholders to understand processes and identify actions requiring automation.
Design and implement performant, resilient automation to replace manual process steps.
Apply security-by-default principles, including secrets management, least privilege, and vulnerability management.
Monitor and improve process performance, optimizing to meet objectives and provide headroom for unknown scenarios.
Automate both operational processes and tests for automation to ensure reliable execution.

What we’re looking for

Required Skills:

Minimum 3 years delivering Ansible-based automation into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
Strong scripting skills: Python, Go, Bash, or similar.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, collaboration, and ownership mindset.
Ability to work independently and in a diverse team.
Security-focused: secrets management, least privilege, vulnerability management.

Desirable:

Experience improving IT services underpinned by vendor software.
Product domain experience: file transfer products (e.g., IBM SFGS/SP, SFTP), mainframe z/OS and job execution workflows, BMC Control-M.
Understanding of financial services compliance and risk management requirements.
