Outline of the job

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Events Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills, capable of planning and executing 2 events (one in Warsaw and one in Bratislava).

The Events Manager will be based in Warsaw and will work remotely or from our Warsaw office.

What you’ll be doing

Event Planning and Execution:

· Plan, organise, and execute 2 events which are conferences/seminars

· Develop and manage detailed event timelines, budgets, and logistics to ensure all aspects of events run smoothly.

· Coordinate with suppliers, and other external partners to secure necessary resources and services.

· Oversee the branding for the events.

· Be the primary point of contact during the events.

Relationship Management:

· Collaborate closely with the Zinc team to understand the event objectives and preferences.

· Provide regular updates and maintain open communication with the Zinc team throughout the planning process to ensure we are delivering against the briefs.

Venue Selection and Negotiation:

· Identify suitable venues for the events based on project requirements and budget constraints.

· Negotiate contracts and agreements with venues, catering services, and other event-related vendors.

Budget Management:

· Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring tight budget management and costs are controlled.

· Track expenses, provide regular financial updates, and identify areas for cost savings.

Requirements

· Proven experience as an Event Manager or in a similar role.

· Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

· Creativity and attention to detail.
