Acquisition and Expansion

Amagi recently acquired Tellyo - a Finnish company with a technology team based in Lodz, Poland. The local development team needs a professional to take over the people function, reporting to and working with the teams in Bangalore and supporting local technology leadership by managing all people, HR and local administrative functions.

Job Summary: People Generalist and administrative regional SPOC (singular point of contact)

People business partnering and engagement is key to the success of Amagi. The incumbent will work in partnership with the Corporate team to ensure consistency of programs and policies with the global framework. They will also manage and drive all people related transactions from ‘hire to retire’ for the region of responsibility. They will play a key role in the attraction, management and development of talent in the region.

This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding to ensure people and payroll processes are carried out efficiently and in compliance with local laws and regulations in Poland. The role includes collaboration with intra and inter team members and external partners to manage various aspects of people and payroll administration.

The role will be entrusted with responsibilities extending from managing processes, being a compliance and governance partner to administering payroll end to end.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Business Partnership:
  • Act as a trusted partner and advisor to the business in areas of talent management and employee relations
  • Work with the business in areas of employee retention and engagement
  • Help the business leaders in career development interventions
  • Implement and manage performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback sessions
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention
  • HR Operations:
    • Manage and administer the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, exit process, and changes in employment status.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with data privacy regulations.
    • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures for the region.
    • Provide HR support to employees regarding benefits, leaves, and general inquiries.
    • Talent acquisition - review (to ensure alignment to HR policies/local regulations) and place all advertisements for talent acquisition.
    • Partner with the global People Programs Team to create, monitor and enhance the pre-onboarding, week 1 onboarding and offboarding processes and experience
  • Compliance:
    • Stay up-to-date with changes in labour laws, employment regulations, and tax requirements in Poland.
    • Ensure people and payroll practices align with local and national compliance standards.
    • Assist in audits and compliance investigations and provide necessary documentation.
    • Perform ongoing reconciliations and audits of data to ensure data integrity; make recommendations to identify and eliminate data inconsistencies.
  • Payroll Administration:
    • Manage the payroll process and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
    • Understand taxes, social security contributions, and other statutory deductions.
    • Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies.
    • Generate HR and payroll reports as needed for management and compliance purposes.
  • Site / Location Administration:
    • Manage local office - via our local service office contact.
    • Manage site activities in partnership with the leadership team
    • Be the point of contact for site administration

Qualifications:

  • 6 to 8 years of People Generalist / Operations experience with 1+ years of experience working with PEOs and/or EORs
