Objective of the Role
We are currently in search of a dynamic Sales Strategy and Operations Manager within our Sales Strategy and Operations team. This pivotal position will provide essential business insights, facilitate cross-functional goal alignment and execution, and spearhead strategic initiatives to drive our sales objectives forward. You will shape and execute new business processes, work alongside a dedicated team of engineers, analysts, and sales operation professionals to optimize our sales operations and contribute to our overarching goal of redefining customer support in the scientific community.Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Commercial Leadership Team to develop and drive the organization’s commercial business operations and sales strategies, including owning key initiatives independently.
  • Help set the vertical’s agenda, including identifying opportunities to improve sales team efficiency and efficacy and leading efforts to scale best practices across teams.
  • Work with the Product, Marketing, Finance and Legal functions to launch new products amp; business models within the vertical.
  • Set up metrics and key performance indicators that drive the vertical’s sales focus. This includes quota attainment, average order size, quarterly revenue, retention rates, and other measurable results.
  • Introduce and continuously develop the appropriate tools for customer management, internal communications, access to information, business processes, sales material, and train our sales team to use them efficiently.
  • Monitor performance of the above-mentioned tasks and fine tune and adjust the operations plan as needed.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.com, ideally Sales Cloud amp; Salesforce CPQ.
  • Innovative mindset complemented by strong technical skills.
  • Deep understanding of the sales operations domain and a strong understanding of the sales and delivery funnel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong problem-solving, research, and analytical capabilities. A natural curiosity to improve processes, leave a clean workspace, and develop intelligent solutions.
  • Strong communication and project management skills, proficient in collaboration tools like JIRA or Confluence. Must be collaborative, agile, and able to work iteratively within a team environment.
  • Adaptable and positive attitude, capable of finding solutions in a complex, fast-paced environment. Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Experience within a subscription-based business is preferred.
