Summary:
We are looking for a talented Senior/Lead Software Automation QA Engineer to join our QA team. This is a long-term full-time (40 hrs/wk) role. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing the highest quality to our high-loaded workforce management application.
We are specifically looking for a professional living in one of the following countries: Poland, Spain, Romania, Brazil, the US, or Canada.
What You’ll Do:
- Creating automated tests in JavaScript and TypeScript using Playwright framework for test automation.
- Creating API tests.
- Maintaining automation project documentation.
- Developing and maintaining internal automation libraries.
- Help implement and drive automated testing strategies across multiple systems and platforms.
- Work with the QA team, software developers, engineering and product managers, DevOps, security, and other core teams to help drive a test strategy based on Agile methodologies and implement best practices.
- Provide guidance and mentoring for Functional QA Engineers.
Requirements
- From 3 years of commercial experience in AQA.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Playwright for test automation.
- Experience in writing automated tests for API, database, and UI using the mentioned frameworks.
- Knowledge of main autotest design patterns, test design techniques, and ability to apply them within automation.
- Experience with Docker.
- Experience with GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of SQL and understanding of REST API principles.
- Ability to find solutions independently and work in a team.
- Proactivity, willingness to learn, improve skills, and share knowledge.
- English level proficiency: B2 or higher.
- Actively contribute and drive the ongoing improvement of the testing process, knowledge, quality, and best practice.
Nice to have:
- Experience with other automation frameworks.
- Experience with AllureTestOps.
- Experience with load testing: k6.
