Requirements
Technical qualifications:
- Strong data engineering skills, including data modelling, setting up data pipelines, and data transformation
- Experience working with contemporary cloud technologies, preferably AWS
- Good understanding of Database Technologies (Relation, Document, Graph, NoSQL)
- Strong programming skills with Python, SQL, Pyspark and Typescript
- Experience in the development of ML, deep learning, TensorFlow, and NLP.
- Understanding of infrastructure automation and infrastructure as code
- The ability to understand complex technical matters, form an educated opinion, and communicate with impact to a variety of stakeholders with different levels of technical expertise
Nice-to-have technical qualifications:
- Experience with data migration (AWS DMS)
- Agile experience
- Knowledge on DevOps methodologies
- Testing
Soft skills:
- Independent thinker
- Able to express own shortcoming / Ask for help on time / Ask for clarification when in doubt
- Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
- Known to deliver on your promises
- Fluent in spoken and written English as well as the local language of the job description
Others:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as cloud/data engineer
- Soft skills do have a high value
- Work experience in SQL and ETL is a must
