Job Description
We are looking for a talented freelance Midweight Designer with Motion skills and Social Media experience to support our Design amp; Production team in London.
We are a tight knit team of illustrators amp; animators, photographers amp; videographers, coders amp; brand builders who create thumb-smashing content for some of the biggest brands in the world.
There will be a number of projects in 2024 for which we are looking to establish a retained freelance partnership.
You will be an awesome Midweight Designer, with photography and or studio skills to support our buzzing, creative team. You’ll need to be super passionate about all things creative, have excellent multi-disciplinary skills, but most importantly, be crazy excited to be part of an industry leader in Social and Word of Mouth marketing.
Role
You’ll be tasked with concepting and delivering a range of work across a variety of projects and brands in the Beauty, Sports and Technology industries and you’ll be working with the most talented bunch of individuals this side of the Moon landings.
In a nutshell you'll be working on a massive range of projects and brands. This could include ideations, project development and creation of content in 2D, photography, stop motion, motion graphics, video or whatever medium works best.
Ownership and passion are key at 1000heads, so we’re looking for freelancers with an insatiable drive to create award winning, innovative campaigns.
- Conceptualise a brief from issue through to artwork and implementation
- Creative ideation and design thinking, on your own or as a team
- A strong knowledge of After Effects (motion graphics) is essential for this role. We like to tell stories that move!
- Deliver storyboards, campaign look amp; feel visuals and gorgeous fit-for-purpose final assets on time, on brand and in a cost-effective manner
- Stay up-to-date with social platforms and industry trends
- Liaising with fellow team members, client service and community teams to deliver projects as a team
- Demonstrated 3+ years design background within Social Media
- Strong After Effects and motion graphics essential
- Agency experience highly desirable
- Intrapreneurial, with a team-player approach and a can-do attitude to go with it. We value positive, proactive team members, eager to help, take on responsibility and able to work on their own initiative

- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

- Design degree or equivalent preferred but not essential
