Requirements
As a Production Assistant, you will be part of our Global Production and Operations team that plans and organizes the production of our live or taped, studio or event broadcasts. The Broadcast Production Assistant supports and plans, organizes, and oversees all productions within the EFG group from start to finish. Our production team focuses on efficient top-quality studio and event broadcasts, maximizing employee potential. In collaboration with the Production Manager, you prepare and oversee budgets, coordinate freelancers amp; external service providers.
What you'll do
- Responsible for organizational aspects of a production, including scheduling, budgeting, and booking of external service providers and freelancers (in collaboration with the Production Manager)
- Manage the scheduling/call sheets of the Production team, efficiently organize setup, rehearsal, production, and teardown timetable
- Manage the production calendar to ensure proper personnel, equipment, and studios are reserved; ensure calendar updates are entered in a timely manner in collaboration with the Production Manager
- Keep project budgets up to date and be in constant exchange with the Production Manager
- Raise and manage PO’s for broadcast staff, accommodation, travel
- Attend relevant meetings and write minutes, follow-up on actions and brief relevant staff and other external invoices
- Assist the Production Manager on administrative tasks: updating and maintaining workflows and documentation
What you'll need
- Previous experience working in a broadcast production area, live sports or entertainment (minimum 2 years)
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, English
- Ability to work under time pressure and remain calm in stressful situations
- A general interests in live esports events and shows
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, plus the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
- Positive, pro-active, open-minded and passionate with your work and colleagues
