The Enterprise Architect omni-Channel will collaborate with the other key areas of the company (business/product/IT) to ensure that plans are based on the overall Strategy and Architecture direction, defining new requirements and driving innovative business processes and technical solutions.
You will be responsible for setting the future direction of these capabilities, outlining a roadmap that meets the strategic needs of the organization, and working with the relevant teams to assure their delivery.
Responsibilities :
Collaborate with IT leaders, other Enterprise Domain Architects and leaders in the business to document IT capability requirements (strategic) as part of annual/on-going planning and governance.
Help drive the formulation of the Enterprise IT strategic roadmaps for eCommerce and Direct To Consumer channels (5 year forward looking view) that are focused on technology capabilities for Business, Information (data) and Technology solutions.
Ensure that roadmaps reflect invest/divest, retirement, and consolidation strategies for systems globally and that industry best practices and benchmarks are incorporated into deliverables
Partner with IT functions and their domain architects to design integrated IT solutions (including the build vs. buy decision) that translate business capability requirements and adhere to established technology standards by integration with infrastructure, application, and data.
Work directly with external vendors and advisory agencies to bring relevant best practices to the Enterprise Architecture team.
Ideal candidate should have deep understanding and experience in cross-channel architecture in eCommerce, Planning and Allocation amp; Order Management for a D2C brand or retailer.
Establish the enterprise architecture practice, principles, guidelines and the governance model
The Architect for cross-program, and cross-project Architecture strategies, opportunities, and problem resolution.
Definition, implementation, and execution of the processes for the definition, maintenance, and conformance management of the Enterprise Architecture.
Guide cross-functional teams via a review amp; governance model in designing and implementing complex systems and software solutions, ensuring that they meet business requirements and adhere to architectural standards.
Ensure the E-commerce platform's compliance with regulatory requirements, such as data privacy laws and payment processing regulations. (this can be managed by the domain architect)
Collaborate with other Enterprise / Area Architects within the organization to ensure consistency and alignment across the firm's technology landscape.
Auditing compliance within the Enterprise Architecture standards.
Update and maintenance of the key Enterprise Architecture deliverables
