Kepak Group is currently recruiting for experienced Boning Hall and Slaughter Operatives for our UK sites: McIntosh Donald in Aberdeen (Scotland), St.Merryn in Bodmin (Cornwall, England), and St.Merryn in Merthyr (Wales). We are looking for skilled to semi-skilled people with a committed attitude and willing to learn more.

Job details:

• Species: Beef and Lamb
• Production levels: up to 2000 cattle per week and 5000 per week (site dependant)
• Monday to Friday production, core hours of 40-45 per week (site dependant)
• Enhanced overtime rates
• 28 days per year paid annual leave, increasing to 31 days after 6 months service
• Starting Basic Pay of GBP2160.00 per month
• FULLY FUNDED VISA APPLICATION PROCESS (including English Language Test, TB Detection Test, Visa Application Fee, Immigration Health Surcharge and Certificate of Sponsorship)

Requirements

• Competence and experience in fast-pace boning hall/butchery or abattoir work with good knife skills essential
• Previous experience working in a high-volume meat processing factory preferred
• Able to work temperature controlled environment essential
• Manual handling ability and awareness essential
• Flexibility to meet daily production targets
• Consistent approach and strong work ethic
• Able to work under own initiative and as part of a team
• Adaptable to change and production demands
• Passion for food
