Truphone has recently undergone an ownership transition bringing onboard a duo of highly successful technology entrepreneurs as fully engaged owners with a long-term vision for the company. At the same time a new dynamic management team is being formed bringing along the start-up ethos and the can do mentality that drives world class scale-up companies in this well-established sector. As a result, we expect to see rapid expansion of the business in the next years well in excess of the gt;20% p.a. growth rates experienced until now whilst focusing on profitability and cash generation.

We are current looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join our team in Warsaw, Poland. This is a critical and high profile role at the heart of our commercial activities, providing assessment and yield management for our key business units. We are looking for a talented individual who enjoys working autonomously, communicating effectively and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

What you will do:

  • Pricing and profitability management. Conduct thorough analysis of pricing data to provide optimum margin, mainly for technology products (IoT connectivity and eSIM-related SaaS). Utilize financial models and tools to evaluate the impact of different pricing scenarios on revenue and profitability.
  • Commercial model development. Come up with innovative commercial models that align with customer’s business model and provide monetization of innovative technology products.
  • Deal approval management. Maintain a structured deal approval process, ensuring all deals are thoroughly reviewed, evaluated, and approved within established guidelines. Collaborate with stakeholders from sales, finance, legal, product and technology teams to streamline the deal approval workflow. Present analysis results and get approval from the Executive Board.
  • Business case analysis and contribution margin calculations. Advise C-Suite regarding various business cases. Prepare financial models, perform detailed contribution margin calculations for various products, services, and projects.
  • Contribution in strategic corporate projects. Take part in various company-wide projects including cost optimization, product development and strategic partnerships. Support decision making process by preparing robust financial models and providing profitability insights.


What you will bring:

  • Proven experience in pricing analysis, deal management and financial analysis within a commercial setting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and working with spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel). VBA programming and BI tools knowledge would be an additional advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with sales teams, senior management, and cross-functional stakeholders. Proven experience in working with C-Suite would be an additional advantage.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in calculations and data analysis.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
