As a Senior Backend Engineer you'll work alongside a talented team of engineers and play a critical role in designing, building, and launching new capabilities and features that bring significant value to our client. Also, you'll work with a wide range of systems, processes, and technologies to own and solve technical and product problems, end to end.
You'll be responsible for everything from architecture, development, deployment and testing of complex event driven system, and backend services - be a part of critical, core system technical decisions.

Location: Kraków, Lublin, Remote from UE
Salary:
B2B: 25000 PLN - 29000 PLN Net
CoE: 20500 PLN - 24000 PLN Gross
Responsibilities:
- New features and services development
- Participating in client requirements analysis
- Assuring code quality and assisting in the development of technical documentation
- Supervising and implementing the developed software concepts
- Cooperating with other teams to follow up issues resolution as well as participating in strategic decisions
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in complex Backend systems
- Strong background on DBs architecture, SQL, and data/event pipelines
- Familiarity with the full life cycle of software development, from design, implementation to testing and deployment
- High standards for code quality and a constructive attitude to help others raise the bar
Nice to have:
- Experience development SaaS microservices on a cloud based environment
- Experience with Python
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with event/streaming platforms such as Kafka
- Experience with Docker and K8s
- Prior knowledge in fintech technology space
- Experience in Machine Learning or data analytics
